Puri: The executive officer of Nimapara NAC, Mohan Charan Jena, was suspended on Thursday for allegedly failing to discharge his duties during distribution of cash assistance of Rs 1,000 to ration card holders.
“The delinquent has failed to perform his assigned duties by not adhering to the government order on social distancing during distribution of financial assistance to ration card holders in Wards 6 and 7 of Nimapara NAC,” read an order by the Puri District Collector.
