Bhawanipatna: The Kalahandi district administration has introduced a simple yet brilliant initiative for contact tracing of people to check the spread of coronavirus.
The district administration has asked people to maintain a daily diary to note the details of the persons that they have come in contact with. The dairy should contain basic information like name, address and mobile number of the person.
Similarly, shops and commercial establishments were instructed to keep records of their customers.
Kalahandi Collector Parag Harshad Gavali said the initiative will help the administration in contact tracing.
Kalahandi has not reported a single COVID-19 case so far. However, the district administration is taking no chances to keep Kalahandi unaffected by the virus.
