Khurda: The Khurda district administration on Tuesday declared a part of the industrial estate near Khurda town as a containment zone.
The clampdown came a day after an employee of Gupta Cables Ltd in the area tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
Khurda Collector Sitanshu Kumar Rout informed that the containment order will remain in force till 7 pm on June 4.
He said the district administration has asked the owner of Gupta Cables to keep all its employees in home quarantine.
