Odisha Fights Corona: Utkal University Departments To Be Sanitized

Bhubaneswar: As a precautionary measure against COVID-19, the Utkal University authorities have decided to sanitize all departments.

The departments will be sanitized during the summer vacation to ensure safety of the students when the university reopens.

Apart from this, the university has decided to implement the modified academic calendar issued by the Higher Education Department and directed the departments to finalize the schedule for the fourth semester examinations to be conducted between July 20 and 31 with prior intimation to the PG Council.

The examinations will be conducted with the sitting arrangements in accordance with the social distancing guidelines.

It has also been decided that the students will be advised to leave the hostel after the examinations.
