Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has identified 56 hotels in the Odisha capital to serve as paid quarantine facilities for those returning from outside Odisha amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
According to BMC sources, 10 of these pay and use quarantine facilities are currently functional. Here are the details:
The hotels have been divided into three categories – premium (9), executive (8) and budget (39). The BMC has fixed room rents at Rs 2500, Rs 1400 and Rs 900 per day for premium, executive and budget hotels, respectively. All these hotels will have to strictly follow quarantine guidelines issued by the state government.
