Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Odisha, the state government has asked all government and private hospitals to submit a detailed report on the condition of the people suffering from asthma and influenza.
Informing the media here, Chief Spokesperson of the state government on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi said that these hospitals have been asked to submit a detailed report about such patients at regular intervals.
He, however, made it clear that if any private hospital is found to be violating the directive, the government will initiate appropriate action it under the Clinical Establishment Act and seal the hospital and cancel the licence if necessary.
