Odisha Fights COVID-19: Medical Equipment Airlifted To Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Two AN-32 transport aircraft of Indian Air Force airlifted 19 personnel and 3500 kg of medical equipment of ICMR from Tambaram to Bhubaneswar for setting of medical lab and facilities on Monday.


At present, COVID-19 tests are being conducted at three places in Odisha.

Following a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases in Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday had ordered for increasing the testing capacity to 1000 a day in the next five days.

Odisha has so far reported 42 coronavirus confirmed cases, which includes one death.
