Bhubaneswar: With the number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases touching 48 on Thursday night, the Utkal Petroleum Dealers’ Association has decided not to provide fuel to people coming to filling stations without wearing the mask.
“The decision has been taken to ensure that people follow the government’s guidelines, which has made it mandatory for them to wear masks and for the safety of our staff,” general secretary of the association Sanjay Lath.
All filling station owners in the state have been asked to strictly adhere to the social distancing norm, he added.
