Bhubaneswar: SAI International has commended the role of police to ensure people’s safety amid the COVID-19 outbreak by distributing food packets to men and women in uniform at several places in the city.
As part of its social connect activity, SAI International distributed 500 food packets to police personnel at Kalinga Hospital Square, Nandankanan, Jayadev Vihar, Acharya Vihar and Vani Vihar on Monday. The distribution of food packets will continue for a week.
Expressing his solidarity with the police force, founder and mentor of SAI International, Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo said, “As we grapple with this pandemic and isolate ourselves in the cool comforts of our homes, it is these brave men and women, who are slogging day and night on the road, to minimize the catastrophic spread. A grand salute to our police force.”
The SAI Group’s director, administration, Arabinda Das, general manager, communications, Sarat Kar, and public relations officer Kailash Pattnaik were part of the team that distributed food packets.
