Odisha Fire Service Personnel Rewarded For Bravery

Cuttack: Odisha Services department has rewarded its employee Hemanta Sa of Sonepur for his act of bravery and great efforts while attending a rescue operation.

A communication from the Directorate General of Fire & Emergency Services said that Hemanta Sa of Sonepur Fire Station is being rewarded with G.S. mark for his bravery work and great efforts in attending a rescue call.

It said driver Dharamu Mahananda was safely rescued after he fell into the river Mahanadi after he met with an accident at Sonepur.
