Odisha Floods: Congress Forms 9-Member Review Committee

Bhubaneswar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Wednesday formed a 9-member committee to review the recent floods in Odisha.

According to an AICC release, the committee will visit the flood-hit areas and submit a report on the impact of the calamity on the people to the AICC president and OPCC president within seven days.

The committee will be led by the leader of the Congress Legislature Party, Narasingha Mishra. It will also comprise former Union minister Bhakta Charan Das, working president of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) Pradeep Majhi, former OPCC presidents Prasad Harichandan, Jayadeb Jena, Sarat Patnaik and sitting MLAs Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Suresh Routray and Mohammad Moquim, the release added.
