Bhubaneswar: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department of Odisha has transferred 34 Deputy Conservators of Forests (Dy.CFs) with immediate effect.
As per a notification issued by the department, the revamp spans across territorial and wildlife divisions with an aim to optimise field-level governance and operational efficiency.
Among the notable changes:
Kshama Sarangi, previously DFO Nayagarh (Territorial), will now serve as Dy.CF in the Office of PCCF & HoFF.
Debarchan Behera, earlier DFO of Kuchinda (KL), has been posted to Nayagarh (T).
Kiranbala Samantray has been shifted to DFO, Nabarangpur (KL).
Binod Acharya will now oversee Chandaka (WL) Division and RPRC, Bhubaneswar.
A Uma Mahesh moves from Baripada to Jeypore (KL).
