Malkangiri: Forest Ranger of Kendu leaf division, Malkangiri, Bijaya Kumar Nayak was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly misbehaving with a woman forest guard.
The woman forest guard lodged a complaint with police on January 9 about the alleged misbehaviour by the Forest Ranger when she failed to elicit any repose from the high-ups, whom she had informed about the same on December 22 last year, sources said.
The Forest Ranger will be produced in the court this evening, the sources added.
