Balangir: At a time when schools and colleges across the state have reopened and educational activities are returning to normal, fresh COVID cases have been reported from Titilagarh DAV College in Odisha’s Balangir district
According to sources, three teaching and a non-teaching staff have tested positive for the virus.
Meanwhile, the principal said the college will not be closed and it is up to to the students to decide whether to attend classes or not.
It may be mentioned here that Odisha saw a drastic fall in daily COVID caseload on Friday as 170 more people, including 24 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. This is the lowest in the last seven months.
