Bhubaneswar: Amid West Asia crisis, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan has asserted that the state government is fully prepared to deal with the challenges thrown by the conflict.

After participating in a virtual meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the West Asia crisis on Friday, the Chief Minister said steps are being taken to ensure the uninterrupted supply of essential commodities and strict action against hoarding and black marketing.

nflict.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that ‘Team India’ will overcome the challenges ahead, emphasising economic stability, proactive agricultural planning, and focused attention on border and coastal states for shipping and essential supplies, said Majhi.
The Chief Minister lauded the central government’s timely excise duty cut on petroleum, describing it as a forward-looking step that prioritises citizens and upholds the ‘Nation First’ principle.
Highlighting steps taken by Odisha, the CM said the state government is ensuring that accurate information reaches every citizen, essential commodities remain available, and instances of hoarding or black marketing are strictly prevented.

Urging people to remain aware of the evolving situation, he said all should exercise patience, and avoid unnecessary purchasing to ensure the smooth functioning of supply systems.
