Balangir: An 18-year-old girl was found dead in coach number S-10 of 08302 Shramik special train, which was on its way to Balangir from Visakhapatnam, on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Radha Khara, a resident of Runji village under Boipariguda block in Koraput district.
Though the exact reason behind her death was yet to be ascertained, a relative said that she had complained of chest pain before breathing her last.
On being informed, Balangir government railway police (GRP) and railway protection force (RPF) reached the coach at 6.10 am. An ADMO then attended to her and declared her dead at 6.25 am.
The body was later seized and sent for postmortem.
