Indore: Odisha girls made merry in the BCCI Women’s U-19 One-day Trophy meet, winning back-to-back matches against minnows Sikkim and Mizoram by massive margins.
Captain Tanmayee Behera (122) and Priyankaree Muduli (113) smashed centuries as Odisha piled up 423/9 in 50 overs against Mizoram here on Thursday.
Mizoram were then skittled out for 89 in 38.3 overs as Odisha won by 334 runs.
S B Lorence (4/17) and Suchismita Panda (3/15) were Odisha’s most effe4ctive bowlers.
On Wednesday, Odisha girls thrashed Sikkim by 225 runs.
Skipper Tanmayee (88) led from the front and Suchismita chipped in with an unbeaten 50 as Odisha posted 283/8 in 50 overs.
Suchismita shone with the ball as well, bagging 5 wickets conceding just 10 runs to bundle out Sikkim for a paltry 58 in 32.3 overs.
