Bhubaneswar: Odisha girls claimed silver at the 44th Junior National Kho Kho Championship in Bengaluru.
Odisha, up against defending champions Maharashtra in the girls’ final, put up a gallant fight before going down 33-34 in a thrilling contest.
In the semifinals, Odisha overcame Kolhapur 29-27 and Maharashtra defeated Punjab 28-14.
Hosts Karnataka lifted the boys’ title toppling defending champions Maharashtra 35-30 in well-contested clash.
