Patna: Odisha girls clinched silver in the Junior National rugby championship at Patna on Sunday.
Odisha remained undefeated till the final, before bowing 7-24 to Bihar in the title-clash.
In the semifinal earlier today, Odisha overcame Maharashtra 17-12 in a close encounter.
Hosts Bihar bagged a double crown as they triumphed in the boys’ final also. Having blanked West Bengal 38-0 in the last-four stage, Bihar boys saw off the challenge of Rajasthan 17-5 in the gold-medal clash.
