Bhubaneswar: In another step under the 5Ts initiative, the Odisha government on Saturday announced that documents like income, residence and caste certificates, and all miscellaneous certificates can be availed online without any fees and on the basis of self-certification.
What is more, in case of death of government servants, no legal heir certificate is necessary to get government dues, said a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office.
So, from now on, people will not have to visit the tehsil office or a service centre to get their certificates. Income and residence certificates will be given on self-certification, while caste certificates will be issued as per the prescribed provision.
Solvency certificate is a document which provides information about the financial stability of an individual/entity. This certificate is required by the government and commercial offices to be sure about the financial position of individuals/entities. Solvency certificate is generally issued by the revenue department and banks on request.
