Sonepur: Odisha Governor Raghubar Das attended the Prime Minister’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme with students of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sonepur on Monday.
The Governor, who was on a one-day visit to Subarnapur district, went to the Central School and witnessed the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme where Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to a question from Rajalaxmi Achary, a student from Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya in Cuttack.
On being asked by Rajalaxmi how to overcome stress in examination hall, the Prime Minister said, “Instead of focusing on others, try to focus on yourself. It will help you concentrate on question paper, which will gradually lead to finding answers and ultimately bring positive results.”
This was the seventh edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, an initiative started by the Prime Minister to discuss and overcome exam-related stress.
During his stay in the district, the Governor also attended several programmes and interacted with the people on women empowerment, development of agriculture and education. He visited Bankatentuli and Kartang villages and held discussions with farmers and the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
He also held a meeting with the members of women SHG at Subidha Kendra in Haradakhol of the district during the visit on the day.
