Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal was conferred with the Kadambini Samman 2022 at a function held at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The function was held to commemorate the 23rd Foundation Day of Odisha’s first-ever monthly family magazine ‘Kadambini’ and the 12th Foundation Day of Odisha’s monthly children magazine ‘Kuni Katha’.
The awards had not been given in the last two years due to the pandemic.
While Kadambini Samman 2021 was given to Niranjan Rath, Odisha chapter president of Lokasevak Mandal cum publisher and printer of ‘Samaja’, Kadambini Samman 2020 was given to singer Pranab Pattnayak.
KISS University VC Satya S Tripathy was among those who graced the occasion.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000 along with a trophy and certificate.
