Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday transferred two young Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, reshuffling important posts linked to the Governor’s office.
A notification issued by the Home Department stated that 2022-batch IPS officer Ananya Awasthi, was serving as Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Governor, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in the Police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar-Kataka.
Similarly, 2023-batch IPS officer Anugu Shiva Maruthi Reddy, currently serving as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) at G Udaygiri, has been transferred and posted as the new ADC to the Governor.
These transfers place relatively young officers in sensitive and visible roles.
