Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal unveiled the statue of Bharat Mata on Raj Bhawan premises in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of 76th Independence Day on Monday.
Padma awardees including Prof Priyambada Mohanty Hejmadi, Tulasi Munda, Kumkum Mohanty, Ileana Citaristi, Aruna Mohanty, Sabarmatee, Shyamamani Devi, and Pratibha Ray were present at the event.
The Governor also released the special cover and picture postcards, which was organised by the Department of Posts (Odisha Circle) at Raj Bhawan.
