Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has once again extended the last date for online registration of application for Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) Nabin Card.
Shalini Pandit, Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, in an official notification stated that the government has extended the last date for submitting the application for BSKY Nabin Card to February 8.
The government took the decision with the objective of leaving no deserving rural person behind in availing quality healthcare under its BSKY scheme. The secretary has issued instructions to the officials of all districts in this regard.
Pandit also directed the officials to intensify the awareness programme about application registration at village and panchayat level.
On January 16, the government had extended the last date for online registration for BSKY Nabin card to January 26. Earlier, the last date for application for the health scheme was January 16.
As per the criteria of the scheme, all rural families (except regular government employees, government pensioners and income tax payers) presently not covered under BSKY/Ration Card are eligible for BSKY Nabin Card.
In order to apply for BSKY Nabin Card, the applicant can visit the website bskynabin.odisha.gov.in for self-registration or visit any Mo Seva Kendra.
