Odisha Govt Allows Additional Attempt To Aspirants For OCS (CCRE) 2020

Bhubaneswar: The state government has decided to grant one more attempt to the aspirants to appear at the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) and Combined Competitive Recruitment Examinations (CCRE), 2020.

A notification of General Administration and Public Grievances department stated that the candidates, who have appeared in OCSE-2018 or OCSE-2019 and are ineligible to appear in the OCSE-2020 for attaining upper age limit or exhausting the attempts prescribed under the Rules, shall be allowed one more compensatory attempt for appearing in OCSE- 2020.

The provisions of the OCS (CCRE) Rules, 1991 are being separately amended to the above extent, the notification added.

Earlier, the State government had allowed additional attempts to candidates to appear in the OCSE Examinations following introduction of Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) pattern in the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) examination.
