Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has allowed home delivery of Out Still (OS) liquor and ENA based Country Liquor (CL) by the licensee himself or through his authorized representative with immediate effect.
The service, however, won’t be available in containment zones, according to an Excise department press release.
Liquor can be delivered home between 7 and and 6 pm, subject to compliance of lockdown orders issued by local authorities.
Retailers are entitled to a delivery charge of Rs 10 per bottle/pouch, but not exceeding Rs 50 per order. The retailers will have to prominently display their phone/mobile/Whatshapp number for receiving orders.
OS and CL licensees have not yet been permitted sale of liquor across the counter in Odisha.
