Odisha Govt Allows Offline Registration For COVID-19 Vaccine; Know Why

Bhubaneswar: Following some technical glitch in the Co-Win portal, the Odisha government on Monday allowed offline registration for COVID-19 vaccinations appointment.

The third phase, which began on Monday, will cover people of 60 years and above and also those above 45 years with co-morbidities.

In a letter to all Chief District Medical Officers (CDMOs) and district collectors, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Pradipta Mohapatra said that there are reports about senior citizens facing inconvenience at some centres in the state due to the non-opening of the portal on which they have registered for the vaccination.

He directed them to allow offline registration of the senior citizens without further delay.
