Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced two-day special leave for all employees to allow them exercise their franchise during the ensuing elections.
All the departments have been intimated in this regard.
Employees working in various departments of the state government will be entitled to get special casualty leave (CL) for two days to cast their votes in their respective places and villages during the elections, the order said.
Odisha will go to simultaneous polls for both the Lok Sabha and Assembly in four phases beginning April 11.
