Bhubaneswar: The state government has decided to provide incentive to health care professionals working for COVID-19 related assignments.
The contractual, outsourced and volunteer professionals working under Health and Family Welfare department will be paid the incentive that is equivalent to the consolidated basic remuneration of a month excluding perks, allowances and taxes paid to the staff.
The incentive will be paid to those who have worked from March 1 to June 30. The payment will be made after June 30.
However, the incentive is not applicable to ASHA workers and outsourced staff in medical colleges, according to a department release.
