Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday announced temporary appointment of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) to provide basic health facilities to the COVID-19 patients in COVID care homes for three months.
In a notification, the Health and Family Welfare Department said that one ANM will remain in charge of one COVID care home. It has been decided that about 7000 ANMs will be given temporary appointments.
In the absence of trained ANMs, the staff nurses and pharmacists will be appointed in their place, the department added.
It also said that the daily allowance of the ANM will be Rs 850 and Rs 1000 for nurse and the pharmacists.
