Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has announced a uniform pay structure for all district ministerial cadre employees under different departments.
According to a notification of General Administration and Public Grievances department on Friday, the pay level of Senior Assistant has been enhanced from Level-7 to Level-8 under the new structure.
A new post of Assistant Section Officer in the pay level-9 has been introduced in view of the fact that Assistant Section Officer post in HoD as well as Secretariat Cadre carry same pay level.
The pay scales of Section Officer, Establishment Officer and Senior Establishment Officer have been enhanced from (Level-9) to (Level-10), from (Level-10) to (Level-11) and from (Level-11) to (Level-12).
This will be applicable to all district ministerial cadres in different departments where the above structure exists.
The notification said there will be no common cadre and each department will frame separate recruitment rules for each district ministerial cadre to regulate the method of recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed in district ministerial cadre.
The uniform pay structure will come into effect from the date of issue of the notification.
