Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday appointed two eminent academicians as members of Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC).
According to a release of High Education department, Dr Atanu Pati, professor of Bio-Science, Pandit Ravi Shankar Sukla University, Raipur and Dr Susmit Prasad Pani, retired professor of History, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar have been appointed as OSHEC members.
They will hold the office for a tenure of six years from the date of their joining or till they complete 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
They will work as executive members of the OSHEC full time in the council office on regular basis, the release stated.
