Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Friday appointed Chavan Kunal Motiram as Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Padampur in Bargarh district.
Motiram, a 2020 batch IAS officer, is currently serving as Sub-Collector, Balasore with additional charge of Executive officer, Balasore Municipality.
The General Administration and Public Grievance department, in a notification on Friday, said, “The state Government hereby appoints Chavan Kunal Motiram, IAS, as the Additional District Magistrate, Padampur in the district of Bargarh.”
The order will take effect after ban on transfer due to Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls is over, it added.
It may be noted that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik earlier approved the proposal for creation of a new post of Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Padampur.
The ADM office at Padampur is expected to further strengthen the administration in the region and help address the public grievances and development activities faster.
