Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday transferred Koraput collector Madhusudan Mishra and appointed Abdaal Akhtar as the new collector of the district.
A notification of General Administration and Public Grievance Department stated that Abdaal Akhtar, project director, DRDA, Cuttack is appointed as collector and district magistrate of Koraput.
He will replace present incumbent Madhusudan Mishra who has been transferred and posted as additional secretary, Forest and Environment Department.
