Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed eight OAS officers as private secretary and officers on special duty (OSD) to Deputy CM Pravati Parida and several other ministers.

Earlier, Satish Chandra Samal was posted as additional private secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Sanjay Kumar Bariganjan, officer on special duty (OSD) of home department, as OSD to deputy CM KV Singh Deo.
Similarly, Prakash Kumar Mohanty was posted as additional private secretary to law minister Prithiviraj Harichandan and Nityananda Sahoo and Raj Raj Samantaray as additional private secretaries to the rural development and forest ministers, respectively. Sarada Kumar Rath was posted as OSD to the transport minister, and Mahendra Kumar Sahoo and Laxmidhar Hota as additional private secretaries to the forest and law ministers, respectively.
