Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday appointed senior IPS officer of 1988 batch Ravi Kant as the Special Resident Commissioner of Odisha Bhawan in New Delhi.
A notification to this effect was issued by the state Home Department.
Ravi Kant, who is now posted as the officer on special duty (OSD) in the Central Registration Centre in New Delhi, is the first appointee to the special resident commissioner post at Odisha Bhawan.
