Odisha Govt Approves 70 Posts For 2 Nursing Colleges

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday approved creation of 56 teaching posts for BSc Nursing College at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and College of Nursing at VIMSAR at Burla in Sambalpur.

Besides, seven administrative posts each have been created for the two medical colleges.

For SCB, the state government has approved 32 teaching posts. These include one principal, one vice principal, one professor, four associate professors, six assistant professors/lecturers and 19 tutors.

Similarly, for VIMSAR, 24 new teaching posts have been created – one principal, one vice principal, one professor, three associate professors, eight assistant professors/lecturers and 10 tutors.

A total of 7 posts have been created for both the institutes.
