Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved appointment of 750 Medical Officers.
The newly appointed Medical Officers have been asked to join within 7 days. The place of joining was decided through online counselling held at NIC Bhubaneswar.
The new appointees can show their appointment letters as pass for travelling to the place of joining during lockdown/shutdown, stated a government release.
The appointments are temporary and are terminable without prior notice or assigning any reason, stated the notice of Health and Family Welfare department.
Earlier this year, the Odisha Public Service Commission had recommended the appointment of 786 doctors as Medical Officers under the Odisha Medical and Health Services cadre.
