Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday approved four investment proposals worth Rs 339.27 crore.
The four proposals were approved at the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi. These are likely to provide jobs to 1,354 people.
The four proposals are
It will create direct and indirect employment for 600 people.
2. A manufacturing unit of steel doors and windows at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex. A Jamshedpur-based company has proposed invest Rs 92 crore on the unit, thereby create employment for 250 people.
3. A logistics park in Khurda district with warehousing facilities and a 600KW rooftop solar power plant. The facility, proposed by a Bhubaneswar-based firm, involves an investment of Rs 66.79 crore. It will create direct and indirect jobs for 362 people.
4. A Berhampur-based real estate company has proposed to set up a resort at Banthapali village in Berhampur. To be set up with an investment of Rs 50.48 crore, it will have cottages, banquet hall, restaurants, swimming pool and a health club. The resort will help create 142 jobs.
Besides these four proposals, investment projects in downstream aluminium, petrochemical and chemicals worth Rs 12,600 crore were recommended to the High Level Clearance Authority for consideration.
