Bhubaneswar: The Council of Ministers headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday approved a supplementary budget of Rs 8300 crore in a meeting held at the State Secretariat here.
Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari is expected to present the first supplementary statement of expenditure for 2019-20 on the inaugural day of the winter session of the state Assembly, beginning November 13. The Appropriation Bill on the first supplementary statement of expenditure will be presented on November 25, official sources said.
The winter session of the assembly will conclude on December 19.
