Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has assigned additional charges to 3 senior IPS officers of the state.
According to a notification issued by the Home department on Wednesday, Additional Director General of Police (CID-CB) Arun Bothra will hold the additional charge of Managing Director of Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT).
He will replace Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Vijay Amruta Kulange, who was holding the additional charge of the Managing Director of CRUT.
Diptesh Kumar Pattanayak, a 1997-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the CMD of OSRTC. He was earlier appointed ADGP-cum-IG of Prisons and Correctional Services and was also holding additional charge of CMD of OSRTC.
Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur has been assigned the additional Charge of ADGP-cum-IG of Prisons and Correctional Services, said the notification.
