Bhubaneswar: Days after effecting a major reshuffle in IAS cadre, the Odisha government has transferred 29 senior and mid-level Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, assigning new responsibilities across various departments and districts.
In a notification issued on Thursday by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, all officers have been directed to join their new posts without availing any joining time. “The officers concerned are centrally relieved from their present place of posting w.e-f. 24.07.2025. They are directed to immediately join in their new assignments without availing joining time,” it said.
The Transfers
1. Sibo Narayan Sahu, currently serving as Additional Director at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar, has been promoted as Deputy Director General (Admin) of the training institute for administrative officers.
2. Sudhakar Sabaro, General Manager, OSCSC Ltd, Bhubaneswar, has been appointed Director, ST & SC Research and Training Institute (STSCRTI).
3. Sushama Barik, General Manager-cum-Secretary, Boyanika, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred to ST & SC Development M&BCW Department as Additional Secretary.
4. Saroj Kumar Rout, Additional Secretary, Commerce & Transport Department, has been shifted to the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell (CMGC).
5. Pravat Kumar Mohapatra, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Balangir, has been appointed as General Manager, OSCSC Ltd.
6. Rabindra Kumar Sethy,General Manager, Odisha Forest Development Corporation Ltd (OFDC), Bhubaneswar, will now serve as Joint Administrator, KBK, Koraput.
7. Babitarani Dalabehera, Additional Secretary, GA & PG Department, and deployed to the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell (CMGC) has been posted as Additional Director, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar.
8. Dharitri Mishra, Additional Secretary, Co-operation Department, with additional charge of General Manager, Odisha State Agricultural Marketing Board (OSAM), Bhubaneswar, has been transferred to Rural Development Department.
9. Sanjay Kumar Pratihari, Land Officer, IDCO, Bhubaneswar, has been posted as Additional IG of Prison, Directorate of Prison (HQ), Bhubaneswar.
10. Suryasmita Sahoo, Administrative Officer, Odisha Construction Corporation Ltd (OCCL), Bhubaneswar, has been appointed General Manager-cum-Secretary, Boyanika, Bhubaneswar.
11. Tarani Suna, OAS (S), Additional Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Balangir, has been posted as CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Balangir.
12. Nupur Chandgotia, Deputy Secretary, ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department and OSD, PVTG, has been transferred to the Works Department.
13. Sarat Majhi, UoT as Executive Officer, Koraput Municipality, has been appointed Additional Sub-Collector, Nabarangpur.
14. Monalisha Panda, OSD at office of SPD, OAVS, Bhubaneswar, has been posted as Deputy Secretary, ST & SC Development M&BCW Department.
15. Shyamal Kumar Ray, Additional Sub-Collector, Bhadrak, has been appointed Deputy Secretary (Enforcement), ORERA, Bhubaneswar.
