Bhubaneswar: With colleges and universities closed due to lockdown, the Odisha Government on Monday cancelled the second and fourth semester examinations of Plus Three students and second semester of post-graduate (PG) students.
The universities will carry out evaluation of students by alternative methods and promote them to next classes. Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo said this after holding a video conference with vice-chancellors of the universities.
Sahoo said it was decided at the meeting that the Plus Three and PG students will cover 25 per cent of the syllabus from self study materials. They can clarify their doubts from the teachers in tutorial classes, he added.
