Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has constituted a 5-member Law Commission to be headed by Justice Biswanath Rath.
In a notification on Friday, the Law department said the state government has appointed former judge of Orissa High Court Justice Biswanath Rath as Chairman of Law Commission and four others as its members.
Advocate General Pitambar Acharya and principal secretary, Law department have been appointed as ex-officio members of the Commission.
Senior advocate Surya Prakash Mishra and senior advocate Soura Chandra Mohapatra have been appointed as members while additional secretary, Law department will be the member secretary.
