Bhubaneswar: The state government on Tuesday declared the day of Pipili byelection as holiday for its offices in the constituency.
In an official notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department said September 30 will be a holiday for state government offices and magisterial courts (executive) in the area under Pipili Assembly constituency in Puri district.
The government on the order of Governor has made the announcement to enable its employees to exercise their franchise without any hurdle on the day, the notification signed by Dr Usharani Sahoo, additional secretary stated.
