Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has dissolved the State Planning Board, it was officially stated on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the proposal for dissolution of this planning body, an official release from the CM’s Office said.
The dissolution of the board, which came over a month after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in the state, will pave the way for formation of a new planning board.
Sources said that the state government is likely to constitute a new planning board soon.
