Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has effected a bureaucratic reshuffle. The General Administration & Public Grievance Department issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
IFS officer Sanjeev Kumar Chadha (1989 batch), who was earlier on Central deputation, has been appointed as Special Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department, on his return.
Besides, he has been given additional charge of Special Secretary, Cooperation Department; Director, Agriculture Marketing, and ex-officio Member Secretary, OSAM Board.
IAS officer Aravind Agrawal (2007 batch), Director, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development Department, with additional charge of Managing Director, Mahila Vikas Samabaya Nigam, has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Rural Development.
IAS officer Shubham Saxena (2013 batch), Joint Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department, has been appointed as Director, Minor Minerals, Revenue & Disaster Management Department. He has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Joint Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department in addition to his own duties.
