Odisha Govt Effects Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle; 11 District Collectors Transferred

Bhubaneswar: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha government on Thursday transferred 22 senior officers. As many as 11 district Collectors have been transferred.

Sudhansu Mohan Samal, Collector & DM of Deogarh has been appointed as Joint Secretary to Odisha government, Water Resources Department, while Kandhamal Collector & DM Dr Brundha D has been appointed as Managing Director, OSMCL.

The post of MD, OSMCL is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State, a notification Of Odisha government stated.

Prem Chandra Chaudhary, SPD, OAV has been appointed as Director, Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Balasore Collector & DM K. Sudarshan Chakravarthy has been appointed Collector & DM, Khurda, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 20(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act II of 1974).

Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, Collector & DM, Khurda, has been transferred and posted as State Project Director, OAV.

Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, Collector & DM, Sundargarh with additional charge of Administrator, RMC, VC, RDA and MD, RSCL has been appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Cuttack.

The post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Cuttack has been declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State. He will remain in charge of VC, CDA in addition to his own duties.

Kulange Vijay Amruta, Collector & DM, Ganjam has been appointed Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.

The post of Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, has been declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State. He will remain in charge of CEO, BSCL and MD, CRUT in addition to his own duties.

Madhusmita Sahoo, Joint Secretary to Government, WR Department, has been appointed Joint Secretary to Government, Revenue & DM Department.

Dr Gavali Parag Harshad, Collector & DM, Kalahandi, has been appointed Collector & DM, Sundargarh.

Swadha Dev Singh, Collector & DM, Nuapada, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Rayagada.

Sairoj Kumar Mishra, Collector & DM, Rayagada has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department with additional charge of Home (Protocol) Department.

Ananya Das, Commissioner, CMC, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Sambalpur.

Dibya Jyoti Parida, Collector & DM, Sambalpur, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Ganjam.

Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar, Commissioner, Berhampur Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as Collector & DM, Bhadrak.

Trilochan Majhi, Collector & DM, Bhadrak, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Revenue & DM Department .
