Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday effected a major reshuffle in the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS), transferring and assigning new postings for several senior officers across key departments.
A notification has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department in this regard.
As per the notification, Sibo Narayan Sahu has been appointed as Special Secretary to government in Parliamentary Affairs Department.
Similarly, Monalisa Lenka has been posted as Deputy Director General (Administration) at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, while Sashank Sekhar Dash has been shifted to the Health and Family Welfare Department as Additional Secretary.
The government has also cancelled earlier postings of some officers. Soojata Mesra will continue as Special Secretary in the ST & SC Development and M&BCW Department while Prafulla Kumar Swain will remain as Additional Secretary in CMGC, as their earlier transfers have been revoked.
Likewise, Sanjay Kumar Pratihari will continue as Land Officer, IDCO, with his earlier posting as Additional IG of Prisons cancelled.
Dharitri Mishra was retained in the Co-operation Department, while Mamata Rani Naik was moved to the Housing and Urban Development Department, and Dharmendra Mallik posted as General Manager of OTDC on foreign service terms.
Chinmaya Kumar Acharya has been appointed General Manager of Odisha State Medical Corporation, and Ashok Kumar Das as Deputy Commissioner of BMC, Bhubaneswar.
